IF YOUR SMART YOU WILL AVOID BUYING ANY DESK OR LAPTOP FROM COMPUSA. ONCE YOU OPEN THE BOX, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A 15% RESTOCKING FEE EVEN IF YOU BRING IT BACK WITH ALL THE PACKING MATERIAL.

 

THIS RESTOCKING FEE CAN ADD ON TO THEIR PROFIT BOTTOM LINE ANYWHERE BETWEEN $200-400, AND IT IS JUST A RACKET TO ADD MONEY, YOUR MONEY.

 

I TOOK BACK A TOSHIBA LAPTOP AFTER ONLY THREE HOURS TO THEIR ANAHEIM CALIFORNIA STORE, AND I WAS CHARGED A $260 RESTOCKING FEE, AND ALL THE NOISE DIDN'T HELP.

 

BE VERY CAREFUL OF COMPUSA, AS THEY ARE OUT TO GET YOUR MONEY IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE.

 

IF ANY OF YOU HAVE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE, LETS GET TOGETHER AND FILE A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THIS POLICY. PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I WILL FIND A LAWYER TO HANDLE OUR CASE.

ON 4/25/04 I PURCHASE A TOSHIBA LAPTOP FROM YOUR STORE #261. I TOOK IT HOME AND FOUND THAT IT WAS TOO LOADED FOR MY USE AS I REALLY WANTED EMAIL NOT TV STATIONS. I PAID

$1,734.61, AND RECEIVED A CREDIT FOR $1,483.96, THE DIFFENENCE IS THE RESTOCKING FEE WHICH THE EMPLOYEE TOLD ME IS CHARGED AUTOMATICALLY ON LARGE ITEMS WHEN THE

EXCUSE IS THAT THE PERSON CHANGED THEIR MIND. I THINK THIS IS TOTALLY UNFAIR AS I HAVE BOUGHT QUITE A FEW THINGS FROM YOUR STORE IN THE PAST, AND I ALSO HAVE MANY

FRIENDS. THE AMOUNT OF $250.65 MAY NOT SOUND LARGE TO YOU, BUT BEING RETIRED AND RECEIVING SOCIAL SECURITY THAT IS A LOT OF MONEY. I HATE TO WRITE COMPLAINT

COMPLAINT.COM OR PUT IT ON THE BULLETIN BOARD THAT YOU HAVE CHEATED ME OUT OF $250.65. I TOOK THE LAPTOP BACK FIVE HOURS LATER ON THE SAME DAY, I DID NOT KEEP IT OVERNIGHT. I FEEL VERY STRONGLY ABOUT THIS AND WILL GO ALL THE WAY ON MY COMPLAINT AS I FEEL IT
