Norton 2002 - as soon as I created his dial up with Bell South and started all his and was just starting updates, he was blasted with (4) very mean viruses! Now the whole system is going to need to be wiped out completely and everything totally redone.

We have just signed up for Bell South DSL. I have all the newer updated software on my computer with Norton 2004 and I was completely protected but my husbands computer wasn't so lucky.

He has the 2002 version and just as soon as I created his dial up with Bell South and started all his and was just starting updates, he was blasted with (4) very mean viruses! Now the whole system is going to need to be wiped out completely and everything totally redone.

The viruses that nailed him was Bat.Trojan, Bloodhound.W32.EP, W32.Korgo.S, and Backdoor.Sdbot. I was able to get ride of all but one with the help of Symantec.com but I have failed numerous times on the last one! This is going to be very costly now and it only took the very first day and first dial up! Damages are done and files are totally lost!
