Luckily I had purchased a extended warranty. I have sent it in and it nobody can figure out what is wrong with it.

I purchased a 60in Philips Tv Sept 2001. After about a year it started acting up by just shutting off with no warning whatsoever. It got worse and worse. Luckily I had purchased a extended warranty. I have sent it in and it nobody can figure out what is wrong with it.

I wrote letters to Philips but guess what?? THEY DO NOT CARE. They say that since it is past the year warranty. SORRY CHARLIE!! I they are not willing to do anything for me. I for one will never buy another Philips product ever again.

The Philips DVD player I bought with the TV is now acting up as well. Seems like everything the make is junk.
