He promises to do a good job. He promised that his workmen would correct their mistakes. He lied as well as doing a sloppy job, and made excuses for his workmen that he picked up in front of the hardware store to do the work. He was always mysteriously gone from watching what his workmen were doing or should I say not doing. They washed our house down and painted only the areas that were visible from the street.

My son gave two thirds of the payment the day they started. 12 men showed up looking like they were going to do a good job. But by the second day there was but 5 men, I am almost sure they did not buy enough paint, knowing full well they would only paint part of the house. It reminded me of the Emperors New Clothes.

There was a lack of respect for our property that carried through the entire job. Nothing was done right, including the paint they put inside the phone sockets so they are useless. Paint on the carpet and on the mirrors. Two floor fans ruined. Paxton maintained they were like that before they came. The man is a liar, and a cheater and should not be left out there to continue to cheat innocent trusting people looking for a fair deal. Instead when we only wanted a good deal we got cheated. What he left for us to do will cost us at least 1200.00 to correct.

I contacted the BBB, they took our complaint and contacted Paxton, we told them what happened, and they were on the case, but upon not hearing anything for several weeks I went to the site and it says that my case is closed. That was a shock.

Not to mention that they still have Paxton's Painting as 'A Good Business'. I sure do not understand how the BBB can still give him that clean record. I even found at the ca.gov. site that he had an arbritration against him.

I just do not want anyone else to be fooled by this guy that for all intents and purposes acts like he is really nice, and honest.
