NAPA Auto parts in Muscatine, Iowa supplied a remanufactured driveaxel for my 1996 Toyota Camry. An essential dust shield that prevents contamination from entering the differential was missing. When I returned the part, they were very good about replacing it with another new assembly. I unpacked the second remanufactured shaft, and it was not only missing the differential dust shield, but the carrier bearing dust shield as well. I concluded that the rebuilder NAPA was using had poor quality control, and that there was little point in exchanging the part yet again. I have had a busted car jacked up in my diveway for days now, and can only wonder how many people have had shafts with missing seals actually installed. The problems with contamination, take time to show up, and many people may not

make the connection to this defective part, when other problems arise months after
