I took out a Plumbing & Drains Cover policy through British Gas. I had to contact them three times to get my documents, and then I needed to call out a plumber as I had a leak. After waiting in all day for a plumber to turn up, Dyno-Rod finally arrived and he said that all my policy allowed him to do was to wrap some tape around the cracked pipe.
I then had to take another day off to call out another plumber at my own expense to do the job properly. I complained to British Gas, but they chose not to reply.
