this will be the short version...it took me 9months to resolve my carpet trouble with empire carpet here in redlands,ca. I was constantly calling,speaking to almost eveyone there and also haveing to call corporate in chicago. a total nightmare.

It was admitted to me that our sales person lied to me and I was told they wouldtake their chances in court! and it was their fault: visible seems in living room,family room,hallway; carpet comming away from our front door step, padding not put in under a cabinet. ruined our holidays last year.

wanted my carpet replaced and our account zeroed out. didnt think this was too much to ask for for a $3000.00 order and 9months of agrivation to me and my family. finally got carpet replcd and what do you know? no seems! a small adjustment of $500.00 to our account. not satisfied but dont know where to go for additional help. family and friends were advised togo else where.

If our account was zeroed out we would consider using them again...this would have been the right thing to do. good luck to those who venture into the "empire"zone. you will get your carpet in one day, but customer service.....?
