Universal Studios - Islands of Adventure Theme Parks - I recently purchased "5 days for the price of 2", (qty 8) tickets for the Universal Parks and will NEVER EVER step foot in those parks again. ($800 plus tax) Every other year, since 1993 my family has gone to the Disney parks and decided to try something different. What I found was rude employees, an unorganized park, a park that doesnt stand by the rules of their website and employees that get to "decide" if they think your children should ride things.

Yes, I absolutely DID go to guest servies only to be told that there wasnt much they could do! MY daughter IS 48 1/2 inches-we measured her after following the website rules. We waited in line 45 mins only to have the lasoder say no-shes JUST shy of 48". NOT TRUE. I explained to guest services that there was no consistantcy in the park-with the employees ans was told basically too bad. The person loading the ride decides. These "loaders" are 18 years old!!! You let me pay the money, follow the website instructions, wait in line and THEN tell me its up to the loader? I wanted my money back so I could go to Disney.

All I got was a couple of free "express" passes fpr the next day at Islands of Adventure.Where,I ran into the SAME trouble-along with cold expensive food, $3 bottles of warm water, $3 warm soads & ride attendants sending me on a wild goose chase to find the baby swap. I was approached leaving the park to do a survey.

I did cooperate but Im sure it wont do my any good. I had to use the 2nd day because I was stuck but I didnt use the other 3 days and it was a waste of vacation time for my family.I work for Homeland Security and so far everyone and anyone who has asked about the trip knows to never visit these parks. Way too expensive to have to leave with unhappy kids. I did my homework-I knew the rules and I expected the lines. But what I got was simply bad service.
