I have a 2 year old Bryant heat pump that has developed a leak in the middle of the indoor coil. This component is only covered by a one year warranty. However, the location of the leak is in the middle of the coil and could only have been caused by a Latent manufacturers defect. I have tried to call Bryant's consumer assistance lines and have received NO satisfaction.

Now I'm being told I have to pay $1,344.00 to replace a 2-year old coil. I have always thought Bryant was one of the top A/C companies and was very disappointed that the company is satisfied to sell a unit that only lasts 2 years.

I understand that companies cannot guarantee that their equipment will run forever but I believe having to replace a coil after 2 years is extremely unfair punishment for being a Bryant Customer. Thank You. &#160 Click this link to e-mail the above consumer: //

Coils can be replaced quite easily by a home owner but you will need to call a guy in to recharge the system properly and safely

Unfortunately you were sold on the name and the name of Bryant is a name I have personally grown to despise. Absolute Garbage!
