Posing as an Alzheimer's disease charity, this outfit preys on the elderly with chances to win $500 a month for 6 months.

They ask for small donations $5, $7, $10, $15, $25, or $50 dollars to help their work.

The real pain comes when you try to get off their mailing list. I have helped my 86 year old mother write to them 8 times asking to be taken off their mailing list.

Going on-line, one can call their toll free number at (800) 437-2423 but it was first busy and then when I got through, it was to a message that the operator was helping someone else. I have reached them live once before and been told that it takes 90 days to get off the list. But that was 5 months ago, and the mail keeps coming.

Warning: Watch for this one in your elderly parents mail. It's a rip-off.
