HSN (HOME SHOPPING NETWORK) LOCATED AT HSN INTERACTIVE LLC. ATTN: CUSTOMER SERVICE 1 HSN DRIVE ST. PETERSBURG, FL. 33729. MY COMPLAINT IS AS FOLLOWS, MY FRIEND WHO LIVES IN ORLANDO FLORIDA DOES A LOT OF SHOPPING AT HSN'S OUTLET STORE. SHE PURCHASED AS A GIFT TO MY DAUGHTER AN ULTREX BRAND SLOW COOKER.

 

(WHICH THE COMPANY PRESIDENT MR. ART KRULL BOASTS ABOUT ITS WARRANTIES) WELL MY DAUGHTER USED THE ITEM TWICE. THE THIRD TIME SHE USED IT, IT DID NOT WORK. SHE CALLED THE PHONE # OF THE COMPANY, SHE WAS TOLD SHE NEEDED THE RECEIPT. WHICH MY ORLANDO FRIEND SENT TO HER. TODAY SHE CALLED ULTREX CO. AND WAS TOLD THEY COULD DO NOTHING ABOUT THE WARRANTY BECAUSE THE ITEM WAS PURCHASED AT THE OUTLET STORE. I THEN INTERVENED AND CALLED THEM ALSO. THEY SAID IT WAS HSN'S PROBLEM.

 

SO, I CALLED HSN CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1 800 284-3900 AND SPOKE WITH A WOMAN NAMED PAT. SHE SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT HELP EITHER. SO I WANT THE COMPANY THAT OWNS ULTREX PRODUCTS (INNOVA INC.) TO KNOW THAT IF A PRODUCT OF THEIRS IS SOLD AT THE OUTLET STORES, THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WARRANTIES. THAT IS NOT FAIR. THERE IS NO SIGNS AT THE STORE STATING " BUY AS IS" , HSN SHOULD STILL HONOR THE PRODUCTS WARRANTY.

 

MY FRIEND IN ORLANDO FL. CALLED THE HSN OUTLET THIS AFTERNOON AND WAS TOLD THE 30 DAY RETURN POLICY WAS OVER. SO THAT LEAVES MY FRIEND OUT THE MONEY FOR THE COOKER, MY DAUGHTER WITHOUT A COOKER AND NO ONE TO HELP US. I HOPE YOU CAN GUIDE US AS TO WHAT WE CAN DO. MY DAUGHTER AND I BOTH LIVE IN HOLLYWOOD FL. I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE MY FRIEND AND MY DAUGHTER.

I have the roaster slow cooker. It works, but I need a replacement for the crock pot insert and HSN claimsthey do not offer the product any more and that they are out of business. I tooam stck.
