My Cigna HMO makes it almost impossible to get a referral. I had to be almost dead of digestive

problems and going to the emergency room before I could get a referral to a gastrointestinologist. Their strict adherence to the Medicare rules make it difficult for quality doctors to accept Cigna

insurance. They refuse to pay on so many procedures that doctors are losing money. All of the good doctors I used to see here in Arizona have dropped Cigna Insurance clients. Cigna seems to be temporarily doing well financially at the expense of clients and doctors.
