AOL Tech Support and Member Complaint Dept

To Whom It May Concern: I called the Tech Support Department on 1-8-04 and was given all the wrong information and was also transferred to several different departments to no avail. I had by accident hit the reo\port Spam button and was told I could retrieve the e-mail that was sent to the Communication Network Dept. I now find out after being on the phone and calling back for more than an hour and a half, that this is not possible and we are sorry that you was misinformed by our staff. I also find out after talking to a supervisor named Vinny that the calls were never noted on my account. After being a longtime member of AOL I find this not acceptable as Customer Service practice. I also signed up my boss for AOL and was told I would receive a $25.00 bonus, which has not occurred to date and my boss has been a member for more than six months. Why does AOL want their members to go to another ISP? Sincerely,

David Hawkesworth
