Northland Group - received collection notice on a debt that was resolved in bankruptcy court 4 years ago

I received a collection notice from Northland Group tring to collect on a debt that was resolved in bankrupt court 4 years ago.

When I called the toll free number, the gentleman was polite. I explained the situation, and he didn't have time to check it out and said, Oh yes I see that it's been resolved. and laughed. Is the outfit tring to rip people off. I feel so sorry for the folks that don't have a computer to check out this company. jan
