Slimy water
I just had a Rheemglas Fury model 21V40-38 serial no. RHNG0503400229 gas water heater installed. Mfr. date May 2003. New in box. The water is slimy on the hands when wet and sticky when dry. What could be causing this? The old Rheem (identical except more BTU) that it replaced didn't have this problem.

Called Rheem and they said that I have to install a Chlorine feeder on the cold water side before it goes to the tank...what the heck???!!!!
