K-Byte Memory - purchased at Best Buy - unable to collect $ 20 rebate due for 256 MB of K-Byte DDR memory

 

 

I bought 56MB DDR from Best buy on 8/29/03 still have not got the rebate yet. Late last month I received a card said the UPC or proof-of-purchase tab is not valid. Then I wrote an email to the www.rebatestatus.com told them if they don’t give me the rebate I will complain to the consumer association, they replied an email at once said everything is OK they are processing and will give me the rebate, but still got nothing. My roommate bought the same memory also got nothing.

 

My roommate and I also bought laptop computer and other goods at same time, and got other rebate 3 months ago. It’s quite clear this K-byte company set a trap to cheat money from customers. Anybody have idea please let me know how can force they give the rebate, your help will be appreciated very much. My email address: JiXiong Y
