The Right One Dating Service - unhappy with service The Right One Dating Service - unhappy with service
Waiting The Right One Dating Service I have been a member of this so-called service for about 3 years. They get you in their ,and make all kinds of promises. After they run all these profiles on you, they finally give you the prices of the service. If you decide after they tell you the prices that you are not interested, they tell you have to pay them a profiling fee.
They do not mention that up front. I had purchased the top of the line membership at the price of $3700.00 dollars. Let me tell you, it has been a complete joke from day one. The very first referral that I received was on HOLD. The next few referral I never even got to speak to them.
I would call and get no answer. I did not meet my first referral until my 4th month as a member. In the 3 year that I have been a member, I have received referrals ,and these people were on HOLD . Being a concerned member, I personally call my membership sales representative ,and asked Why Am I Getting Referrals Who Are On HOLD. Well, they did not like me calling them. My membership sales representative personally called Me SHALLOW and SARCASTIC .
All because I asked Why Am I Getting Referrals Who Are On HOLD. Since then ,from the time I send back the information of my last referral, it takes me about 4 months to get my next referral. I have also call my membership sales representative, and inform the that it has been about 4 month since my last referral. The reply that I get from my membership sales representative is I WILL SEND YOU YOUR NEXT REFERRAL WHEN I AM GOOD AND READY TO. Great customer service, I did not think I deserved being spoken to like this. I payed $3700.00 to get spoken to like this.
My next call was to the office manger. I basically told her I want my referrals or I Want my money back. That how I got my Last referral. I had to go over my membership sales representative head. Once again I have been waiting 4 month for a referral. I have had it with The Right One Dating Service. They take you money and leave you with no service. I know they do not like me.
That is because if something dose not sound right I call them on it. For the price $3700.00 dollar that I payed to The Right One Dating Service, I think I have that right. I sent this so that other single would not get roped into the same raw deal that I got into. I Think their service is as scam. If I am not going to get referral, Well I will just have to give them $3700.00 worth of grief. Yours truly Strat B

These people are scam artists and worse than used car salesmen. Actually, that is completely unfair to used car salesmen. They take your money the referrals/dates never happen. They told me in the interview I would be going on a date every week. It will be 1 Year in July guess how many dates I have been on? That's right zero. They don't return phone calls or answer emails. The manager office Manager Jennifer has no customer service skills. This company is a scam. Don't go there the chances of you getting a date is slim to none. I wish I had read these before I succumbed to their high pressure sales pitch. Now I wish I could find an attorney. I've been a member for almost two years and I've met three girls, all of whom were overweight. I stay in shape. I make great money, and I have no children or other baggage. I'm 31 so I don't know a lot of single folks here and my married friends don't have single friends, either. If I wanted to meet an obese woman with a truckload of baggage on the verge of economic disaster, I could do this for $29 a month via Match.com. Enter The Right One... "We have over ten thousand women in your area..." "We're much better than online dating because we match you more closely..." "We'll have you a date before the end of the week..." "You're a good catch, we'll have NO PROBLEM matching you..." Bull... Crap... The fact is I live 130 miles from their office and they cannot find ANY matches in my area (within 50 miles). The girls they match me with either lie and say they're willing to meet someone who lives a ways away, or they just don't tell the matches where I live. 90% of the women I approved for a match would not answer the phone and one actually had her phone cut off. Honestly, how did that girl approve ME if noone can get in touch with her? Did I mention the obese women? Call me shallow, but if I'm in shape, I'd like to meet someone who's height-weight proportionate. Physical attraction is a component of chemistry and The Right One continually ignores this. Perhaps there are only obese women signed up for the service? Not only did they misrepresent the reality of their service, but they are the most unprofessional pack of liars I have ever dealt with. On three separate occassions, after being matched with girls who would not return phone calls, I was told X would be handling all my matches personally. Then, weeks later, when I finally get another match, it's a different person who doesn't even have access to my file (or can't locate it) to verify that the woman they want to set me up with meets my criteria. They lie lie lie lie lie lie lie. Then they lie some more. That's if they even return your phone calls. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint expressing my dissatisfaction. As a result of this (and not the fact that I'm a freaking PAID MEMBER), I received a call from TRO. The lady said (where have I heard this before?) that SHE would be handling my account personally on a one-to-one basis. That night, I received correspondence from someone different in their office. Pawned off again. Go figure. I'm still waiting on her to actually call me back 10 days later. I'm not holding my breath, but I am talking to attorneys. See below and Stay away!!! source: http://www.kxan.com/Global/story.asp?S=7624585 An Internet dating scam has cost Central Texans thousands of dollars. The Better Business Bureau said it has looked into the dating service The Right One after receiving at least 25 complaints over the past three years. The services promises hundreds of matches and does not deliver. Dorothy Kelly of Spicewood went online looking for Christian singles was led to the service. Now she is out $2,000. "Had it not been thousands of dollars, I would have chalked it up as a mistake and walked away from it, but the fact that it was has me fighting," said victim Dorothy Kelly. The Right One promised Kelly that 500 people met her criteria. She signed the service's hefty contract, and over the course of a year, she had two matches. "They were calling me with people with who I had nothing in common as well as not calling me at all," Kelly said. Kelly said she hopes to get her money back. At the very least, though, she does not want for anyone else to fall victim. "What I would advise is if anyone wants to do this is take the contract home," Kelly said. "Don't sign it the first day, and really review it." Local police officers said they are concerned about signs on the road leading people to The Right One's Web site. "We just don't want someone to spend thousands of dollars that's not legitimate," said Rhonda Redden of the City of Hutto Code Enforcement. "We do have a concern that there is somebody in Hutto that responded and has fallen prey to prehaps some inscrupulus business practice." The Texas Attorney General's Office is also investigating the service. It has received 11 complaints in the past two years. The office has asked that anyone else who has had problems with the service to call and report it. "There are very high-pressure sales tactics that are being used to actually get consumers to sign on the dotted line," said Erin Jones of the Better Business Bureau. "There's a lot of promises made up front about the number of matches, as well."
