Comcast Digital Phone
Have had several problems with this company. This time, I scheduled a new phone line to be set up in my home - which was required to work for a company I would work for out of my home. I had just gotten the job, and was very eager to start work. The only appointment Comcast had available was two weeks from that day. I set it up, and let the company that hired me know that it would be two weeks. Two weeks later, on the day of the phone installation, my husband took off of work to meet them here between the times they designated: 8-11am. Well, NO ONE showed up. We called the ONLY number you CAN call for Comcast service now, which is a national number!
We spoke to someone in Colorado the first time, and North Carolina the second - and they were all trying to help us with a problem in Atlanta? The only communication they had was through E-MAIL to the Atlanta repair/service department . They told me there was NO number to call them.
They assured us that there would be someone there by the end of the day.
The end of the day - NO SHOW - NO CALL. We called Comcast again. Again, they apologized, and said they would work on it. They assured us that someone would be there the next day FOR SURE.
Next day (which was yesterday) - NO SHOW - NO CALL. We called them again. Spoke to a supervisor, who didn't help either. Said he would send them an e-mail. Asked to speak to someone OVER the supervisor - was told I could but I would have to HOLD for a little while.
Eventually, I was told the best thing to do was to RE-SCHEDULE my appointment, which is another TWO WEEKS away!!! Can you BELIEVE THIS?
Someone needs to give Comcast an idea what Customer Service is!!!!! Atlanta, Georgia
