I have invested over $600.00 with Mr. Rooter on my septic tank/drain Field and as of 1/28/04 I still cannot use water in my house. They will not give me back my money or can they fix my problem without paying miore money ($1,000). I asked my my money back from the work that they already did with no success. I had called them on Dec 2 for my drains backing up into my house.

The first gentelman that showed up broke the lid to my tank and could not get it off. So the next day they sent out another gentelman. When he arrived he ran a snake down my inlet of my pipe from the septic tank and ran a snake out the outlet at the same time. He told me that he felt there was not a problem, but if I wanted to fix to so it would drain better he could run a camera down and see what the problem was. He did and he said that there was not a problem, but maybe I should empty my spetic tank and put in 5 gallons of Bio Chem that would produce live culters and they would eat any slude left in my pipe, so I did at the expense of $600.00.

Then I was gone for three weeks, and when I return the drain started backing up inside my house again, so I called them back, they did not want to come, but they did. He ran a snack in the inlet again and siad he found a soft sludgre spot and he told me that it was fixed. Not even three days later the septic backed up inside my house again, they did not want to come out unless I paid again, I said no, but they came out an ran the camera down the pipe again and again he said he saw nothing, then I made him put a 3 in snake into the pipe and he could not get it very far.

Well guess what he said you have a problem there and I will need to run the camera again and know he tells me that he made a mistake and the pike is crushed and the water will not drain. He wants another $800.00 to fix it. So they sold me 5 gallons of a chemical I did not need, which the Health District says is only snake oil and it will not create bacteria to clean the tank.

I also did not need my spetic tank pumped. I am asking for the money I paid to have them fix the problem which they did not due. KNow I have to hire another company and they will dig up my yard, trees and place a new line. There price is $300.00 verses the $800.00 that Mr. Rooter wanted. They will not give me my money back and they are selling a Bio-Chemical which is really snake oil and they claim the Bio-Chem will eat all the sludge out of the tank and the lines, which the Health Dept. says is inpossible. Can you help!
