1997 Rodeo 4x4 - purchased Isuze extended warranty from Bishay Motors, Walpole, MA - Bishay went out of business - money paid for warranty is now worthless

I purchased new a 1997 Rodeo 4x4. At that time I also purchased what I was leaded to believe was an Isuzu extended warranty from Bishay Motors , Walpole , Ma. At 84,000 miles the lifters started making noise. Bishay went out of business, I took the car to another Isuzu dealer on Cape Cod. The dealer held my car for three weeks while trying to get permission from the warranty company to do the work. They refused... I had the burden of proving my car had been serviced. The warranty company wanted maintenance slips. As my car had always been serviced at an Isuzu dealership and I believed I held an Isuzu extended warranty, I couldn't understand the problem. As Bishay Motors went out of business I was unable to access their computer files to prove my maintenance record was impeccable. Isuzu of America was of no help. Other Isuzu dealerships were of no help. The extended warranty cost nearly $1,000 and has proven useless. I now have 100,135 miles on the Rodeo, a problem with the check engine light coming on when ever it wants with no clearly defined reason and an engine that sounds comparable to a Cummings diesel.
