2000 Chevy Tracker, 2WD - unreliable breaks - airbags did not deploy in 50 mph collision

My 2WD, convertible 2000 Chevy Tracker had very unreliable breaks and on wet asphalt often slid at stop signs, once it turned around almost 180 degree! That is how it was totaled when the car in front of me

stopped and my Tracker slid into it.

On top of the break problem, none of the airbags deployed! My speed was around 50 mph and the car in front of me was stopping. If you have a 2000 Chevy Tracker please get your breaks and airbags inspected. Good luck
