Best Buy - unable to get Samsung rebate due to rebate address being P.O. Box

New Computer

First, let me tell you that I live in a small town and I'm 4 hours away from the nearest city. My husband and I purchased a new computer from BEST BUYS, This was right before Christmas of 2003. We bought the computer one reason being the rebates that were being offered.

After getting home and filling out all the rebate forms, one month goes by and we get this card in the mail stating that they could not give us a rebate because we have a P.O. Box, never one time were we called or e-mailed and on the card there was no place for a response.

I've called BEST BUYS, their response was its not our product, you will have to call SAMSUNG, I called this 1-800 number and after holding for 1 hour this person tells me that this is just a rebate center and that they are not affliated with SAMSUNG.

My husband purchased a SAMSUNG T.V. costing $1,000.00 a month before the computer from the same place and after going through this , we will never purchase anything eles with the name SAMSUNG on it again and we will never shop at BEST BUYS either. Thanks For Reading
