AOL Net Marketing - illegally charged account $79.99 for services not requested AOL Net Marketing - illegally charged account $79.99 for services not requested
AOL Net Marketing
AOL Net Marketing has illegally charged my account $79.99 for services not requested. These types of actions should and must be stopped. We cancelled the regular AOL services 18 months ago and it took me until June of last year to get them to stop charging my account.
Even though their records indicated that the service had indeed been cancelled, they refused to refund my money except for the previous two months. They said if I had a problem with it that I should have contacted them every thirty days until it was corrected. This most recent charge has caused me severe overdraft charges in my account.
They have agreed to pay them if I provide them with a copy of my bank statement. Not only do they illegally charge for services not rendered, they are allowed force us to do the footwork to straighten everything out. Where do these people get off?
Just so everyone knows, they now have a class action lawsuit filed against them for shipping "goods" not ordered and taking it upon themselves to charge their customers accounts. If anyone out there that subscribes to AOL has a brain, they will get out as quickly as possible AND WATCH THIER BANK ACCOUNT.
