Fry's Electronics - haven't yet received Western Digital and Pagago rebates

This complaint is specific to Fry's Electronics, Western Digital and Pagago but generally to all rebate rip-offs. Recent rebate offers advertised by Fry's induced me to buy a 160 Gigabit Hard disk on which there was to be a rebate of $70. plus and additional $30 rebate. After seven weeks the $30. 'ADDITIONAL' rebate was received but the REBATE was not. Legally if I cash that $30.00 check they have met the fullness of the $100.00 contract.

Thus I by phone called Papago (after almost and hour of flim-flam red tape) repetitious restatements and respellings I was finally given a number. Along with "allow 6to8 weeks more for the REBATE. I am absolutely lived that this rebate sucke -bate borders at the edge of being criminal corruption that law enforcement should put a stop to.
