B&D Undercounter Coffee Maker

 

Bought Black & Decker Mod # ODC325N undercounter coffee maker - 2 Nov 03. Failed to work on 4 Nov 03, returned to store and replaced. Replacement model failed on 21 Feb 04.

 

Called 800 number for warranty, you get referred to another 800 number with an overseas location who then gives you long recipe of instructions to replace defective maker, e.g., cut of power cord, make copy of receipt, give letter describing problem, give name, address, phone number, send all to an address in Ohio - A real pain in the rear! What has happened to Black & Decker?

 

Used to mean quality products -- now they are inferior! Unfortunately, they are only company I have found that makes an undercounter coffee maker.
