Bank of America VISA
I first made contact with the Bank of America regarding a VISA charge problem April 16, 2003. Support documentation has been faxed and re-faxed. Many phone contacts have been attempted, they usually involve long waits, and representatives that are unable to handle the problem.
When referred to those supposedly able to so I'm advised by recording to try again later as they are unable to answer the phone. I have under these circumstances tried faxing a request for a call back. Usually don't get one, but when I do, it's usually at a time when I'm not available. I try again usually with the same result. The "special reps" are supposed to return a call within 24 hours which, of course, does not happen. I'd like to resolve the problem within the year but maybe I should plan on TWO! I can't believe the Bank of America is so inefficient in customer service skills! Their print advertising and taped phone messages that tout concern for the customer are outright fallacies. I hereby nominate the Bank of America for the Worst Customer Service Award. They truly deserve it! W Keith Wilson
