Ambient Air Heating & Cooling, LLC responds to your customer complaint by stating that the fees the customer was incurring was not something made up by Ambient Air Heating & Cooling, but rather money which the customer making the complaint acknowledges was not paid by his "home warranty" company. Therefore the complaint should be against his "home warranty" company not us. These fees are environmental fees for proper disposal of products and equipment, which the home warranty company did not cover. The customer acknowledges that some other "home warranty" companies cover these costs and some do not. Some carry a portion and others cover nothing. The complainant even states this in his "complaint" letter which you have published on your website against us. Please review this information and do not hesitate to email me back regarding any questions. Thanks for your understanding and assistance in straightening out this customer problem.

2-10 Home Owner Warranty
Extra fees charged by contractors... that consumers must pay. My compressor in my Heat Pump went out and the Contractor "Ambient Air Heating and Cooling Contractor in Phoenix AZ" wanted to charge me $75 for the disposal of the old Compressor.
I called other AC repair companies and this charge is not customary. However, the 2-10 contract states they are not responsible for this fee or recovery of freon. Therefore, I had to pay $75 in addition to the $45 deductible to have my Heat Pump fixed.
Therefore, I see this as a back-ended "bait and switch" to the Home Warranty Agreement which subsidizes the cost of the AC/Heating Contractor. I understand that OLD REPUBLIC Home Warranty program covers these fees. Todd

I dare any one in the country to tell me that they had their air conditioner serviced with a compressor changed out for even a 5th of thr price you paid---- as an electrical contractor that does not work for this company I salute ambient heating and air conditioning for not over charging you on non covered cost like so many contractors do- From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Friday, 11-Jan-08 09:39:58 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
