Hi, I would like to post a complaint for the phonecard company www.1st4phonecards.com. I purchased 2 of their Planet Talk Africa cards (cheaper if you buy two) for phoning home from France to the UK and was charged the correct amount per call. However, minutes/credit was deducted from my account between calls, meaning that I actually received little of what I had paid for. I then tried complaining to the website's customer service who explained that the problem was due to

continuous "technical upgrades" (yet did not suggest that this problem would be fixed nor that it should be unexpected).

They insisted that they had no access to my account and could do nothing and that although they were the ones who had taken my money in the first place the problem lied with the manufacturer.

After 3 months of complaining via email to little or sometimes no response (and usually fairly rude the responses I did receive) I asked for the manufacturer's address or phone number so I could complain directly to them.

This too has received no reply. Yours, Sarah Makinson
