DIRECT TV REBATE

DIRECT TV WAS INSTALLED 9/22/03 AND STILL HAD NOT RECEIVED REBATE OF $49.00 AS OF JANUARY, 2004. THEY REC'D REBATE ON 10/6/03 PER THEIR INTERNET SITE. AT 8 WEEKS, I CALLED AND WAS TOLD ANOTHER MONTH DELAY DUE TO HIGH VOLUME OF PROMOTION.

ONE MONTH LATER (1/8/04) CALLED. GUESS WHAT! YOU CANNOT GET A LIVE PERSON VIA THEIR PHONE OPTIONS. I FINALLY USED THE "CANCEL MY SERVICE"OPTION FIGURING THAT WOULD GET SOME ATTENTION. GUESS WHAT!!! SOMEONE PICKED UP ON THE CALL.

THE BEST I COULD GET WAS $49.00 CREDITED TO MY BILL. I WILL WAIT TO SEE IF THAT TRANSPIRES. DOESN'T SOUND GOOD, WHEN YOU CAN'T REACH A REP AT A SUPPOSEDLY REPUTABLE COMPANY.
