Teleflora - double charged on flower order - waiting for response from Teleflora

Complaints.com received the following consumer follow-up message on February 6, 2004:

FOR THE HOLIDAYS I PLACED AN EMAIL ORDER WITH TELEFLORA TO HAVE FLOWERS SENT TO MY MOTHERINLAW AND PAID FOR THEM ON MY VISA DEBIT/CREDIT CARD. WHEN THE CHARGE CAME THRU ON MY STATEMENT TELEFLORA DOUBLE CHARGED MY ACCOUNT.

I HAVE CALLED THEM 4 TIMES, 2 TIMES I WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE A PHONE CALL BACK, OF, COURSE, THEY DID NOT RETURN MY CALL I HAD EMAILED THEM AS WELL, AND TO DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE.

DUE TO THIS ERROR OF TELEFLORA, I ALSO INCURRED A 25.00 CHARGE ON MY CHECKING ACCOUNT WHICH WAS TO CLOSE THE FIRST OF THE YEAR. I HAVE TO LEAVE MY ACCOUNT OPEN NOW UNTIL MY CREDIT IS RECEIVED IN.

MY ORDER NUMBER IS: AND THE DOUBLE CHARGE TO MY ACCOUNT IS $50.14
