Samsung Refrigerator
I have already posted a complaint about this fridge (post #12). The fridge is now 2 years old. I had to call Samsung now my freezer side is still working but the the fridge side. After months of waiting for the parts to the icemaker(engineers had to redesign for American use) now I have this. Only 2 years old. I did call Samsung and told them I was not paying for the repair. The customer service people were nice and as helpful as they could be but it's up to Maytag repair to fix the fridge. No one should have to pay for extra warranty service. Manufactures should have enough pride in their product that the consumer should not be burden with an extra cost. I will never by another Samsung product again.

Samsung refrigerator
After purchasing an GE and having problems with it, the place of purchase finally came up with an offer of giving us a refrigerator of our choice. That was a Samsung chosen with reluctance due to never having any type of experience purchasing a Samsung product. Wish we never made that choice now.
We are a family of 5 and we go through alot of ice. Ice maker consist of 10 tiny cube ice tray to make ice. I now have to purchas 2 bags of ice to dump into the dispenser to keep up with my family.
Maybe where they make this product they don't use much ice but in America we use alot. The ice makers the engineers designed are nothing but a joke.

After not having good success with the ice maker for months it seemed to freeze up in the freezer section against the back wall. When I defrosted it I found that a piece of plastic had not been removed from the back cover of the freezer. The plastic covered up the air intakes at the bottom of the freezer section. My model is side by side RS2530BSH. I took the back panel off and removed the piece of plastic, took the ice maker out(two screws in front of ice maker attached to top of freezer then slides out forward) and soaked the ice tray in vinegar for four hours, then sprayed with Pam and wiped off excess. I reinstalled the ice maker and installed a fresh water filter. Ice maker while not going to win 100 yard dash is putting out much more ice. Hope this helps someone.
