back in July of 2003, my fiance had ordered a computer via telephone. dell contacted me and stated he was not approved and would i like to try under my name. I asked the interest rate and etc. they stated they were just customer service and that before every thing was approved that i would be contacted by dell financial first for agreement policy. This where nightmare has begun. I ordered the computer that I wanted with a flat panel monitor.

A few days later my fiance returned from out of town upset and called them. they said they could not find record of what he was saying but a computer had been shipped out in my name. It arrived the next day. I opened the box and this was not what I ordered. I called customer service and sent airborne out to pick it up. I have three return slips with routing numbers. they did credit me on everything but 400.00. I called and asked what this was for and they said have not received back monitor yet.

but i stated that monitor was only about 100.00 monitor, oh they said i had to pay the taxes and shipping. Now this is there error not mine. I have to pay for taxes on item i dont have. Then the nightmare with dell financial started. No one speaks clear english. they call and demand check number and payment by phone . i have wrote letter after letter, call after call. no response.

Then I wrote the state attorney general here in fla. then i receive a call from dell by person named arlan. they stated they will get my account cleareed up. What a joke? now a collection agency has started on me. Oh and the interest rate, they should be sued for not enclosing their rates to consumers before purchase. i dont understand how this is legal in the united states for a company to pull these scams. dont buy a dell computer or anything that you can not see now. I

went to sams club and got my computer with no hassels attached. There was one more detail, they did not have my correct last name. they attached my first name with my fiance's last name. Now that should show a red flag up there. oh and by the way with my honesty i have tried to correct it and they wont. What a joke. A bunch of foreign people in our country runing a scam, cant speak clear english and taking the real americans money. When will the FBI investigate the company????? margaret f
