Earthlink - ISP - getting billed $1 to have my check processed every month, and $1 to have a paper bill sent

I would like to complain about my ISP, Earthlink. Granted, the internet service is good, it is the customer service that really needs work!

I am getting billed $1 to have my check processed every month, and $1 to have a paper bill sent to me. I was never told that this would happen when I signed up with them.

When I called to balk at these ridiculous charges, I was pretty much told "oh well, that is the way we do things.". I plan on cancelling as soon as I have fulfilled my obligation.
