After reading a complaint about this company, I decided to list mine. I purchased furniture from Norwalk about 5 years ago. About 2 years ago, I noticed fraying on the piping on the upholstered recliner. When contacting Norwalk, they replied the fabric warrenty was only for 2 years. I realized this, but thought that any reputable company would stand behind their products. They didn't.

They did offer to reupholster for 80% of the original cost.! (The sectional was $4,000) We paid approximately $900 for this recliner and assumed they were quality pieces.

These pieces received normal use--no abuse. I feel there was a defect in the material. Aside from the fraying problem, I question the of the integrity salespeople. They sold me this set saying that my concerns about the light background of the(cotton) fabric would not be a problem because their Fabricote protection had a lifetime guarantee/warrenty--NOT!!!!.

I called Norwalk when the fabric started becoming soiled (about 2 yrs.) and they said I had to call Fabricote and in turn they told me there was only a 2 year warrenty also. I was never informed this cotton fabric had to be dry cleaned only.

The dry cleaning company said they would not be able to remove the soil once it was set into cotton fabric. So here we sit with very expensive, soiled, frayed furniture that is an embarrassment. My 10 year old bargain store furniture has held up better than Norwalk's furniture!!!

I have never been so dissappointed with a product in my life.
