I have a 2001 Grand Prix GT and, here's the list of all the repairs done to it so far at 63K miles: Transmission rebuild at 47K, CV joint at 54K, steering rack replacement at 59K, and today the passenger rear window motor was replaced.
I'm a non aggressive driver, and I live in Florida, so abuse or climate are not reasons for all these repairs. I am so glad I have an extended warranty to 89K miles. This is my 1st and last Pontiac. My next car will be Japanese. H, Dowling

The struts lasted until 140,000, and the steering is still as tight as new. The engine doesn't burn one drop of oil, and I have had this car for 50,000 miles and never drove it easy.
