NEVER have I ever been denied food to my liking, especially when I am SPENDING MONEY!!! On the evening of December 6, 2004, at 6:11 p.m. I entered the location of Togo's at 2334 Arden Way, with my staff, all quite hungry after a good day's work.
I walked in, and after being stared at, was asked what type sandwich I wanted. I expressed my choice, which entailed NOT including the END of the bread loaf as part of my sandwiches. I have sensitive teeth and, at times, the end can tend to be a bit tough by the end of the day. Jenny, the Shift Manager at this date and time, expressed to me that she could not cut the bread that way, because she could not use what was not used to make my sandwich.
Now, mind you, I have been buying sandwiches there, longer than Jenny has been alive, and for a moment, almost went along with the ridiculous response. After some thought, and my knowledge of customer service protocol, I decided to take my business, and hungry staff elsewhere. I will not patronize Togo's Eatery anymore after this night, and will pass on to EVERYONE I know, NOT to patronize Togo's as well.
