I purchased equipment from Dell and used their business financing through Dell Financial Services. It took almost 60 days for my first statement to arrive and it arrived while I was away on business. When I got back realized the bill would be late I tried to make a payment online, but some how a computer company's financial services does not have a way to pay online! So I tried to pay on the phone, even though, they charge $15 extra to pay by phone.

But the phone service was not open on the weekends. So I mailed a payment priority mail realizing they would receive it a day late. What I didn't realize is that Dell Financial Services sends you to collections the day after you payment is due! I also didn't realize that it would take 7-10 business days to process my payment and that the payment would not post to my account until 3-5 business days after it cleared my account!! I have a photocopy of the check from my bank and they are still telling me it could take 3-5 business days for it to post to my account!

Never use Dell Financial Services their customer service department is non-existent!
