Hello,

I just thought that I would bring to your attention the fraudulent practices sony uses to screw people out of money. I purchased a game from sony for 39.99 (planetside) and it came with a 30 day free trial. You couldn't use the free trial unless you gave them a bank account or credit card number. The software stunk and we cancelled before the free trial was over.

This was over 1 year ago. and they have been sucking 12.99 from my bank account ever since. Contacting customer support is horrible. We Spoke with a MANUEL at planetside customer support and were told if we didn't have a confirmation e-mail from a year ago, we were out of luck?

This Customer service rep was very rude and unprofessional! Regardless of the fact the account in question has never been used since the free trial expired, They refuse to do anything about the well over $200.00 they have siphoned from us.

It seems they lure you with the free trial and immediately start billing you continuously until you call them. They won't make matters right. Not surprisingly when we contacted the bank, the charge comes up as "SOE", no contact number or way to contact them. I had to go to the store and get a customer service number off the box. On top of that, unless you have a account id # from the game cd, they can't help you.

As you can see, these people are parasites. Stay Away from sony online games....

P.s. On top of getting charged for nothing, the $9.99 monthly charge it is supposed to be magically became $12.99!?!

In my opinion, this is fraudulent and immoral.
