New York, NY 10020 Warranty Repair Toshiba Digital Camera Ser # 60610660 I have been trying to get warranty repair on my Toshiba PDR-M81 camera since August of this year. I sent it to United Camera, who seem to be the only competent people in you organization. There are numerous pixels that will come up as white spots, red spots and blue spots. United camera found the problem then sent it to World Wide Electric to be replaced. They called me and said they could find nothing wrong with the camera. I explained to them what it was doing, waited a week and called them back. I emailed sample photos of the problem then they said it was scheduled for replacement. They sent an email with some photos they said were

taken with my camera and asked me to approve them. They were low resolution jpeg photos which looked good. I assumed they had replaced the camera. When I received the camera and tested it I had been sent the same camera with the pixels deteriorated more. I want to know why the repair facility says it is bad and your bad technicians say they can not find anything wrong with it. I have been a Toshiba customer since 1974 with a small tape recorder. I have had six Toshiba laptops, four Toshiba digital cameras, and a lot of other products that have Toshiba parts. I have always had excellent service out of all the equipment, but this one time I have gotten the runaround with the warranty, spent $26 to the number that told me my call was important and they would be right with me. Five calls for a total of 68 minutes waiting and have yet to talk to

anyone. So much for being important. The bottom line is that I have written a short story about this ready for publication and so far it has no Brand names mentioned. Christmas is about due and I have a grandson I would like to take pictures of with a replacement camera. I have enclosed printout of a few of the bad pixels. If I don’t hear from you I assure you that I will never buy another Toshiba product, not because of the quality of your products but as a matter of principal. Bottom line: All I want is the service that the real technicians at United Camera promised. And don’t tell me to call another support number or send my camera back with a promise.
