A couple of months ago, I ordered a large supply of personal checks from Checks Unlimited to avoid paying the high price charged by my bank. When I received them, I discovered that they only include two deposit slips per pad of checks.

Since I make at least six to eight deposits per month, I have already used up most of the deposit slips from all the check pads.

When I called to complain, they said they had recently reduced the number of deposit slips but that I could order an extra supply of deposit slips for a charge of $9.95. There goes all the money I "saved" by not ordering checks through my bank.

I had no idea that they did this, and it should have been better advertised because it would be a problem for some people. However, I'd love to have this "feature" for my personal checking account. I only use a deposit slip about twice a year.
