Home Depot Home Offices Unreachable to the Consumer
My complaint against Home Depot is in regard to siding that was installed on my home. We signed a contract on Sept. 9th, 2004. The work was due to begin Nov.1st,2004. Because it rained that day, the crew never showed up or called.
For four weeks, we waited day after day for the crew to complete our job. We lost so many days and hours waiting for them to show up.They would come and leave, or not show at all. When they finally completed the job, we were not satisfied with a portion of the job and were told that it would be completed after Thanksgiving. Well, it is almost Christmas and we haven't heard a word from them.
I tried calling there home office in Atlanta, only to find that there isn't a published number for their home office. All calls are routed to a call center in Tampa. The president of Home Depot is Robert Nardelli. The person that I talked to in Tampa, didn't even know who Robert Nardelli was!!!!!!! Go figure. I f I had seen all the complaint on complaint.com, I would have never signed that contract.
I have since written letters to the president, vice president, district manager and CEO. No one has responded. We can't let Home Depot get away with treating it's customers this way. I'm truly upset that they have ignored my complaints. Any suggestions on how we can get this resolved?Does anyone have a number for that Home Office?
