Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Store Wilmington, DE At first glance the sales people are pushy and impatient with you while you are making up your mind on a very expensive purchase. Then secondly, I have never had more rude or lazy delivery people. The 2 delivery men showed up on a Saturday morning, never greeted me with a hello, we’re from so and so. Instead came in looked around and said, “you’re stuff ain’t gonna fit” (exact quote) After bringing in 3 of the 4 pieces I was told again that my items wouldn’t fit. While carrying in the item up 4 stairs they managed to scratch said item on the stairs and run it into the door jam.

 

After one attempt (yes one) they had it wedged in doorway and yelled that it wasn’t going to fit and referred to me as lady. After several minutes of arguing with them, I called the office directly and was told to refuse the item and they would compensate me for $60. (on a $2000 purchase). I’ve never been more frustrated or appalled by a delivery person. I’m still fighting this and now have to waste another Saturday with another delivery team. I walked into the store and I thought I was being attacked by a swarm of bees! I asked if I could please browse with out being followed and I would catch them behind walls and behind furniture. I promptly walked out.....never to retun.
