Beach Body - I ordered the Slim in 6 plan from Beach Body back in June of 2004. I received the DVD's and was charged the correct amount on my Visa, everything seemed to be fine. I eventually paid off the credit card in full and cancelled it. I haven't heard anything from the company since.

I ordered the Slim in 6 plan from Beach Body back in June of 2004. I received the DVD's and was charged the correct amount on my Visa, everything seemed to be fine. I eventually paid off the credit card in full and cancelled it. I haven't heard anything from the company since.

Now it's December and I all-of-a-sudden get a notice from the North Shore Collections Agency stating that I have an outstanding debt with Beach Body for $19.95 because they tried to charge something else on my card behind my back but it was declined because I had cancelled it (yes!).

However, I never received any kind of statement from the company themselves (I'm sure it was because they didn't want to get caught trying to put phony charges on my credit card) so what did they do but just waited for six months and then sent it straight to a collections agency!

Now my perfect credit record is going to be screwed up because of Beach Body trying to get an extra twenty bucks out of me for something I didn't order (I still don't know what the charge is for, they won't tell me!). I have read about others who have had grief because of Beach Body as well. They are not professional and do not care about the customers, only their money.
