I have been dealing with this Airline since February 2003.I went to Rome that year with a person who was ill with lung cancer,his wish was to go to Vatican,and see relatives in Palmero .The trip was arranged by Travelocity,who were very very helpful.We were to spend two weeks in Italy,and unfortunately he took ill and we had to return in a week.
Travelocity arranged in detail refunds for unused Hotels and were very helpful.We had purchased tickets for the Second week to fly to Palmero,however had return to States. Travelocity had written Atalia AirLines many times,they returned un used tickets,I have written them in New York,and in Rome to President of the company,never getting a response from them.I sent certified letters no reply .
Travelocity was very helpful and also sent them letters no reply.The customer service department in New York leaves a lot to be desired,as I felt that they could have at least replied with an answer.I would strongly recommend anyone who ever plans to use that Airline,to look for another.I plan to re visit there soon.
The other party since then passed away with cancer.Atalia Airlines has a very poor customer service,They have the unused tickets,paid in full,kept the money and never never replied of the outcome.I am very very upset with them,a reply would have made a difference to me ot Travelocity. I would highly recommend Travelocity for travel arrangements,but never ATALIA AIRLINES
