This lender never ceases to amaze me in their creative efforts of theivery. Both my husband and I have had numerous problems with only ONE lender out of the many we have done business with in the past and currently. Upon our shopping for a camera, we stopped in to HiFi Buys. We happened upon a great deal on a returned item and decided to purchase it. When HiFi Buys offered a desirable financing option,

we opted to go with their financing. Unfortunately, it was with the DREADED GE Capital Cons Cardco.

We gritted our teeth, and against our better judgment decided to proceed with the financing, even though we both remembered numerous problems we had experienced with this lender over the years. And HERE AGAIN, in this instance, we have confirmation that they appear to be dishonest

lenders. And due to our experiences, we feel their business practices are unethical. Here is our most recent bad experience with them: This time upon our balance being due and wanting to avoid finance charges, I not only read the bill sent to us, I CALLED AND CONFIRMED all information with their customer service dept. The man confirmed the amount due. He also verbally provided me the address we should send the final payment to, which was:

PO Box 9001557 Louisville, KY. I made an extra trip to our post office for this delivery. I mailed the payment out on the 8th, and

the payment was due on the 14th. Since we had had problems in the past, i sent the payment via

CERTIFIED MAIL, paying several extra dollars for this service. It turns out that the USPS tracking provides this information: that the payment was received on the

16th - - and HERE IS THE KICKER... on the USPS receipt confirmation for my certified mail the address is in LONGWOOD FLORIDA, NOT KENTUCKY as i had addressed. SO, they received it in Kentucky, THEN they sent it on it's way to Florida, causing considerable delay in receiving our payment. They are now communicating that we owe the full finance charge. I am disgusted! Although there is a possibilty that this still MAY be resolved, we will be canceling any and all

finance (credit) options through this company. We have experienced these types of problems for ages, but this was the straw that broke the camels back. No matter how desirable a finance option may be, it is not worth dealing with these people! Our advise to you would be to avoid this lender at all costs! Sincerely,
