Back in July, My wife had a serious car accident, she was 6 months pregnant at the time and I had just changed jobs. That was the only car we had, so insurance totals it. Not only that, I had a serious amount of doctors bills and hospital bills to pay. I was saving every penny I had to buy another car to get to work, got behind on my payments to Sears. I was only 2 months behind and I called Sears to tell them what the problem was. They wouldnt talk to me because I am only an authorized user of the account. My grandfather who signed with me on the account, now can not hardly tie his own shoes. So how's he gonna go through all this mess with Sears? I tried to explain that to them.
They dont care and hang up on me. So today I get a phone call saying they are in the process of suing my grandfather. I conference call sears and my grandfather together so my grandfather can simply say, my grandson pays for this account and he has my permission to handle this account. When they find out were all conferenced in they hang up. Now every time I call or my grandfather calls, as soon as we tell them our account number they hang up. Whats the deal? Sears wont let us talk to a manager or anyone else. And talk about RUDE REPRESENATIVES!
I dont see how Sears is still in business. Basically I have advice for others seeking to start a credit account with Sears. When you go to fill out the credit app. bring a big 5 gallon bucket of vaseline and bend over! Talk about one sorry excuse for a business that cares about its customers. I will never again buy from Sears or have anything to do with them. I tell all my friends and family the same. And they to have not been back to or had anything to do with Sears!
