Sears Auto Center, Manassas, VA (From letter I sent to corporate) I've always regarded Sears as a quality store with excellent products and knowledgeable employees. However, on Dec. 30, 2004, several employees in your Auto Center caused me embarrassment by laughing at me when I asked them to initial the vehicle-maintenance book for my 2004 Ford Focus. I simply wanted them to validate that I had an oil change and tire rotation there, and when I asked for such a thing, the employee at the counter (I didn't get his name) laughed. I asked if that was OK, and he obliged. I felt very embarrassed. My husband later told me that the employees were "doubled over in laughter" in regard to my request. I'm not sure if this is how the Manassas, Virginia, (in the Manassas Mall) Sears Auto Center usually treats its customers, but it is extremely unprofessional and rude. I don't plan on exposing myself to such humiliating treatment again.
