Maytag Neptune Front - load washer

My Maytag Neptune Front-load washer started to have mildew problem just aft 1.5 years. And after 3 years the motor broke last week. Went to the Maytag website, and found that these are common problems. There was a class-action lawsuit in the U.S. and was settled.

To my dismay, anyone outside U.S. is not covered. A phone call to the Customer Service for Canada was met with arrogant and extreme rudeness. When I asked for the gasket to be replaced, I was given a lecture how I failed to keep my washer "clean".

One advice to other consumers, don't buy Maytag. Especially you are not in U.S. It seems there are 2 classes of Maytag consumers. U.S. consumers and non-U.S. consumers!!!
