Sprint PCS On the Sprint network I am constantly getting dropped calls, poor connection and unanswered calls to my voicemail. For all of these calls my account is being charged. I have to retry up to 4 or 5 times to reconnect and that cost me at least a minute a call.
I have called Sprint and made note through their voice service of dropped calls but they have a limit, even though it doesn't equal the times my calls are interrupted. I spoke to agent Patricia (Pt12pjohns07) on 10/15/04 (if that is her real id) and she was unwilling to look into this, unable to credit my bill and completely scripted in her answers.
She just refused to do anything other than put me on hold for an extended time. I then talked to a supervisor, id# Jzellmoi who also would not offer any compensation or advice other than to
by a new $300.00 phone. In the past I have spoken with helpful reps who adjust the bill and look into these matters. I found these c.s.a. to just be obstinate for the sake of it. I signed on for online billing and I cant even access my invoice to dispute some of the charges at this time. This is another issue
of how unreachable Sprint is when there is a problem with billing or service.
However, having seen the invoice for Aug Sept 04 I did notice that there were no credits for dropped
calls that I noted through their voice service and that the Taxes Surcharge and Fees were almost equal to the base cost of my bill. The charges were $30.05 and my plan is $45.00. I have read that there was a class action suit against Sprint for falsely stating some charges were taxes when they were just
Sprint additional charges. I believe the billing practices at Sprint have been untruthful and completely unethical. The service has been spotty at best and advising me to spend $300.00 on a phone to keep from being charged $150.00 seems like quite a scam.
I spoke with Executive and Regulatory Agent name Debbie Nolte from the London, KY office on Dec. 3/2004 and was never offered any kind of solution. She just kept trying to pass the problem on to me for not taking her call while I was driving and then blaming me for dropped calls because she speculated that my phone was too old ( one year) or that I was in an area with a weak network. Seems SprintPCS would like to pass the buck when it comes to their company flaws. Thanks, Dana O
