Sony Viao GRX-550

Sony Viao GRX 550 is giving me hell out of problems. Once it didnot reboot, I called sony customer service and they couldnot help me in this regard. They asked me to send it to their repair center and said it would cost me $600 for the repair. I browsed a little on websites and came across a website where many sony victims posted there problems.

With there suggestion I played with Ram it worked and again it stopped working after 3 mths. There is no good response when I call customer service. They are asking me to pay $20 for technical support. I am really frustrated because of their incapability. Please help me in this regard. Lavanya.
